yeah, i grew up catholic. with the priest scandals and the churchgoing numbers way down in the us and across europe, i knew the german one would win.

They had such a great chance to embrace the fastest growing segment of the Catholic church, the South American and African Catholics, and instead they went with the same old same old.

for it was i who led adam astry, and who caused us, as a people, to be forever banished from the garden of figleaf-ed frollicking-betwixt-the-berry-tree goodness.

for such a mortal sin, i should surely expect to pay a pennance... maybe to accept a standing as half the worth of a man, be banished from all places of true voice within the church yet be more bound to its moral codes, and have my concerns, realities and words deemed irrevelent and silenced.
